Foam occurs in almost all wet processes just like leather-treatment processes. Existing foam may impair product properties and/or may disrupting the processes.

Antifoams are then essential. Whether they are incorporated to prevent leather auxiliary formulations from foaming or added direct to the treatment liquor to destroy process foam or avoid foam formation. JONUS foam control systems are effective at defoaming/antifoaming.
